Beyoncé's Baby Picture Is Already Being Compared To Classic Works Of Art

Happy one month birthday, Rumi and Sir!

Happy one month birthday, Rumi and Sir!

Name confusion, classic artwork and extra Twitter reactions (oh my).

Sound the trumpets and unleash the Beyhive, because Beyoncé has just blessed the world with the first, dramatic photos of her new holy spawn.

After captioning the glorious, floral photo with “Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today,” the singer slash Goddess sent the internet into a tailspin over just what their official first names were.

Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today. 🙏🏽❤️👨🏽👩🏽👧🏽👶🏾👶🏾

But Grandma Tina Knowles put the weird name theories to rest real quick, captioning her own Instagram repost, “So Happy my baby shared a photo of her babies with the world. Proud grandma hello Sir Carter and Rumi Carter. 7/13/2017 Boy and girl what a blessing.”

Phew, okay. Glad that’s cleared up. Although what if Sir Carter gets knighted one day? What then?!

Meanwhile, the photo itself was the cause for much celebration, being an epic follow-up to the most-liked Instagram of all time, Bey’s pregnancy shot. According to the New York Times, a representative for Beyonce said the image was taken by Mason Poole.

Being a work of art fit for a Queen, the classical art tributes came thick and fast. And they’re glorious.

Literally art.
