This is why strong female representation matters.

Much to the chagrin of red-pill jerks everywhere, Wonder Woman is the smash hit of summer, and has already made almost three times its budget back, thank you very much.

If the numbers don’t already prove what a success the film has been, on Sunday, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins shared an incredible list sent to her by her producer.

Compiled by a woman who works with a Kindergarten class, the list shares all the things that happened within a week of the movie coming out. Some gems in particular include:

  • “[A] boy who was obsessed with Iron Man told me he had asked his parents for a new Wonder Woman lunchbox. ”
  • “I was talking to one of the girls that hadn’t seen the movie, and the next day she came and very seriously told me ‘you were right, Wonder Woman was way better than Frozen.’”
  • “There is this one girl that refuses to listen to you unless you address her as Wonder Woman.” Same, tbh.

Obviously, media has a huge impact on shaping a kids’ outlook on the world, so it’s all the more exciting that a ground-breaking film like Wonder Woman is inspiring girls and boys alike.
