The New Season Of 'Broad City' Will Censor Out Donald Trump's Name

Like Voldermort, Trump is "he who shall not be named," on Broad City next season.

The results of the 2016 Election caught a lot of us off guard, including your two favorite comedy qweens, Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer. But it's cool, they have a plan.

"We wrote [Season 4] being like, 'Here we go! Hillary for president!'" Glazer told USA TODAY. But "after this game-show host became president of our country, we rewrote a lot."

One of those rewrites included the decision to censor out any mention of the current president's name.

"There's no airtime for this orange (person)," Glazer said. "We bleep his name the whole season."

Season four begins August 23rd on Comedy Central, but you can get a preview of what the censorship will look like in this short, released on Inauguration Day:
